The Austin Browncoats make another trek up north to Dallas. We were able to visit with our non-local Austin Browncoats and host a booth at Star Wars: Fan Days.

The Austin Browncoats hosted a booth at this fun literacy convention, and visited with non-local Austin Browncoats in Dallas.
September 4-7, 2009 - Dragon*Con
A few brave crew members headed southeast to Dragon*Con 2009, one of the biggest Sci-Fi conventions! We hope you got a chance to stop by our booth and say, "Ni Hao!"

December 31, 2008 - New Year's Eve Recession Party
It's only a matter of time before we're officially in a recession & it'll be time to party. Dress in your favorite recession attire! Bring your favorite canned meat! Drink your favorite 40! Come with or without your job. Maybe we'll have a fire pit to roast your dreams and retirement.

Join the Austin Browncoats as we carol through a neighborhood on December 19th. We'll have folders with all of our songs available, but make sure you RSVP with Beth. There is no enforced dress code, but Victorian, Dickensian is preferred, if possible. Otherwise, just make sure you prepare for the cold weather.

July 13, 2008 - Austin's Can't Stop The Serenity 2008
Can't Stop The Serenity is a global series of screenings of the film 'Serenity,' held to raise money and awareness for Equality Now, an international women's rights advocacy group. Can't Stop The Serenity events are held on (or around) June 23, which is writer / director Joss Whedon's birthday, through the ‘Serenity’ Release Anniversary, September 30.

Austin Browncoats will be hosting three booths at FedConUSA in Dallas. Our charity raffle will support Kids Need To Read, with a special item donated by Kids Need To Read: A Terrifying Space Monkey signed by Morena Baccarin! We are excited to support such a noble cause, and hope to see lots of Browncoats!
Sadly, this Con was Cancelled! Mid-Con! So the above blurb is ficticious! But, we still had a great time, even though our fun was cut short.
March 7-9, 2008 - All-Con 2008
Join the Austin Browncoats at their first Convention ever! Not only did they make great friends and have great fun, but they also made money for charity! It was the start of what the Austin Browncoats are today. We can't wait til All-Con 2009.
