I've been watching this avidly and I have to say I love it. It reminds me of being in show choir in high school...yes i was in show choir don't act surprised. I was the lanky one in the back who couldn't dance well but could definatly belt out a tune or 12.
Glee is hilarious!

Nope...Though I have to say I watched Virtuality (talked about some time ago on another string) It was kinda meh. I mean it was interesting but not really suspenseful and kinda predictable...Hope Paranormal Activity was good though.

I would so try to come to that.

OK so this is the only date I can go in October and I HAVE to go because I have a friend getting married, she is having a period handfasting and it is with their local SCA group. The wedding is period and set in pre 17th century. I have to wear something that fits close to that time period and there are specific colors I have to wear. I am sure some booth or shoppe at the faire will provide what I need but I would love to not have to go alone. SO if you think you may be able to accompany me let me know asap as I will be going whether I am alone or not. Also if we get enough people there is the option of group tickets.

Also if we get enough of you interested we can purchase group tickets and save money.

The other weekends that I think several of us will be able to go are the first two weekends of November (the weekend of the 7th and 14th)

I heard you can't make the pictures move with out a huge box that you put the alleged VHS picture box in, but then after that even you must buy a glass box made of plastic (lol) the size of a small cargo vessel...Only then will the mysteries of the VHS be unlocked...or something.

Lone Star Shindig 2009 / Re: Volunteers Needed
« on: September 24, 2009, 03:18:32 PM »
I am interested in the positions of decorations, clean up crew, and cooking. Obviously I may not be able to do all of that, but I am happy to volunteer Claudia to help me- at least with the decorations cause we are badass together. Anyway- when we have a meeting about this we can discuss it further I may end up only taking one or two positions depending how many volunteers you get. I have not bought a ticket yet, but I will get to day...

Remind me never to do the space pirate thing again. Especially if the news is going to be there.

I know I am going to this, and as far as I am aware Beth, Claudia, and Ryan are as well. Is there anyone else going? I didn't see a topic on this but if there is I am sure this can be deleted. I just wanted to make sure we coordinate travel as we will need to figure that out very soon...

I am absolutly going. That is all for now.

I saw this last weekend and it was EPIC I don't want to give away everything though! They are not allowed to have as much of the exibit leave the country anymore so that is sad. If you do the movie and you buy the audio tour and you really indulge the way I did with my aunt, you are looking at 4 hours

I have friends out there I can go visit, so I am going to try and get them hooked on the show and hopefully they will go giving me an extra excuse. I would like to go though and if we book tickets in advance the next time gas drops it shouldn't be too expensive...just a thought

I wish I lived in Austin! My friend Abbie and I printed 10 books with sheet music, although we never actually got them in the books we have the music still. It's in storage somewhere at my house in Tulsa...Sigh...
