Some trekkies aren't going to like it because it apparently doesn't stick 100% to the original stories.

But fortunately for me, I'm not a hardcore fan. So I plan on watching it. :)

Same here.  I love him.  They say he gives the character the Scottish accent that character was meant to have.  We will see.  :D
