Spoiler policy?
« on: November 14, 2007, 09:57:28 AM »
Do we have a spoiler policy on the board, like for the upcoming Trek movie or comic books ('verse related and not), books, movies, TV shows, etc?  I assume "don't be an ass and broadcast spoilers" would be the general flavor of such a policy, but any hard and fast rules?
i am a bowl.

Something simple.  Put *spoiler* in the header.  If you don't, Josh or I might delete the post and send the poster a PM.

My personal preference is for people not to put spoilers in thread titles.  Something like "Death of Willow in Season 9 comics" would not be a very nice title.  Just "Willow in Season 9 comics spoilers" would probably be enough for people who have read something that big to know what you're going to be talking about.

That's my vote of how it should be handled at least.

It might be nice if we had spoiler tag options too.  I don't see them as an option right now.

I'm hoping everyone in the group uses common sense about spoilers.

I think a generic title with *spoiler* at the front would be best.
