I don't really know how to take these things. Joss seems to be trying really hard to keep us from flying off the handle. Didn't he tell us before that it was his choice to mess with the pilot episode? He seems to be rewriting a bit of history here.
To me it seems like he's half trying to keep crazy internet campaigns and letters to Fox to a minimum. For the other half I think he's trying to keep us interested in watching the show. I'm still hopeful that the show will be good but I'm also still convinced it will be canceled.

yeah - it did rather boil down to "I see you guys are ready to rally. Well, no need to be ready......just yet. Well, perhaps soon. So, stay ready. But, don't rally....yet."
