Thank you!
« on: October 12, 2008, 06:47:39 PM »
Folks,

People kept telling me I wouldn't be able to enjoy Browncoat Ball because I was running it.  And maybe that is typically the case with events of this size.  (I know I've run some events that have left me wanting to sleep for months!)

But not this one.

I had so much fun!  I'm so sad it's over.  You guys were amazing, and I can't wait to see you all again!

Visit Austin again soon!  You will always have (at least) a couch to sleep on.

I hope you all had a great time!

And to my friends, old and new, who helped me put this event together - you guys are the best!

This was amazing. I never had a prom, and so this felt like going to the prom to me.
It was a lot of work, but man it was so worth it. I met so many new people and people I've known online for a while and finally got to meet them in person.

This was absolutely a great event. And thank you Beth!!!!!

Yep. That went well.

It was great! Thank you guys for pulling off a mighty fine shindig. I am in awe of what all you all thought off and implemented. I had a Ball (as my fortune cookie said I would!) ;D

Glad a fun time was had by all though.  Now I gotta go check out the pictures thread.

I really enjoyed the string quartet.  I only wished I could have attended the dance training on Friday because I would have loved to have joined the dances!

Actually, there was so much I would have loved to attend.  It was an awesome line-up.  I heard nothing but praise for knife throwing, weapons of the verse, and fight choreagraphy.

It was also great to be able to make the bracelets and dance cards to have a personalized keepsakes.

Brenda-

I think that's the best and worst part of planning an event like this.

On the one hand, you get to plan awesome things you'd love to do.

On the other hand, you can't do any of them.  :(

I heard praise about all of our activities.  So happy people enjoyed themselves.  ;)

Understood and agreed.  I am thrilled so many other people enjoyed it!
