Here comes the Sun (Dr Who rumours)

While I highly doubt anything this piece of fish-wrapper has to say, it is an idea that would be interesting (apart from the return of a certain group who should just stay dead - at least for a few years). I won't include any actual info from the article to prevent spoilers, except for saying that for some, it'd be a cross-over dream.

Similar articles by that paper here and here.

While the part about David Tennant not returning is certainly verifiable....I dunno about the rest. Stewart seems an odd choice and it seems to me Davies is smart enough to stick with a younger doctor to keep the major demographic of the series.

I am just really hoping we aren't going to be going through doctors like tissues. It was stated in cannon, back in an old episode with The Master that Time Lords only have 12 regens in them and Tennant is the 9th regen. Not that cannon has been anything special in Who...ever....but, still.....

We will have had DT for 4 years by the time he departs, so if we only get that much from the remaining 3, then that's another 12 years of Doctor Who. Given that some shows don't get anywehre near as long, I'll be happy with whatever they give us. Plus there's the masses of novels and audio stories to keep things alive.
