...textbook, happy to say He came through with flying colors. His voice has changed which will take some time to get used to - he sounds more like a big boy now. He is taking it easy, but he is doing grand. Took him till about 5pm to want to eat and then he ate like twice his weight in food! So, looks like all will be good. Still no indicators that his hearing has improve vis-a-vis his speech, but we've still got our fingers crossed on that one.

Glad to hear everything went well. I guess now you guys will be catching up on some very needed sleep, huh?

he's doing great, actually! That boy can heal like nobodies' business! We just have to be careful not to get his ears too wet or too dirty - a 5.5yr old boy mind you.

He went back to school today and stayed the whole day - so he seems to have bounced back. He goes in for another hearing test in 3 weeks. So far, no sign of the improve hearing helping his speech out any, but we're still holding out. Maybe by next week.....
