2009 Recap - Add your own memories?

I'll have to work on more memories, but I definitely want to say one thing so that Beth doesn't have to say it herself. 

Beth was just as funny and engaging as you'd expect at the auction for the first showing, but she was in especially fine form this time. It was a treat to watch her in action again, and I was really impressed with the response she got from the room.

I think the funniest part of the night for myself was helping MC the first raffle.  There was only one item that wasn't claimed by the end of the announcements, this really cool custom Serenity artwork that I was eying since the raffle table was set up.  Beth needed some time to prepare for the next portion so she passed the mic to me.  I figured I could kill some time by trying to determine who one the artwork.  It was pretty cool, and I didn't want it to go unclaimed.  It was suggested that I look at the back of the ticket to see if there was any name there... and sure enough... it was mine!  I stopped for a moment, because I didn't want anyone to call "shenanigans" but I quickly realized how funny it was.  I let the crowd know I was the winner and we all shared a good laugh.
