Dragon*Con
September 3rd-6th
Dragon*Con is the largest multi-media, popular culture convention focusing on science fiction and fantasy, gaming, comics, literature, art, music, and film in the US. And Austin Browncoats are soooooo there! If you are going to Dragon*Con and want to help out at our dealer's booth, write to volunteer@austinbrowncoats.com. Claudia will be working her knitting magic during the con again this year, with proceeds going to KNTR. Pledges can be made online as well as at the booth during the con, check it out.
So stop by our booth and visit if you're at the con. If not? Check out the Knit-a-Thon site, make a pledge and/or tell your friends. Join us in cheering Claudia on and see just "how many Jayne hats can be knit at Dragon*Con?"

Austin CSTS 2010
September 11th-12th
It's that time again! Time to get ready for Austin's Can't Stop the Serenity! September 11th and 12th are the days, and we'll have more information about our schedule and ticket purchases available soon!
Proceeds from this year's CSTS Austin are going to Equality Now and The Kids Need to Read Foundation. Kids Need To Read is a children's literacy non-profit organization who will take the money we raise and put it back into Austin's underprivileged schools, libraries and shelters.
