We don't do it often, but because a number of Austin Browncoats will be out of town or otherwise occupied on August 3rd, we're moving First Sunday to Second Sunday, which will also be Beth's and Claudia's Birthday Party.

Join the Austin Browncoats our booth at San Japan in San Antonio. San Japan, LLC, formed in Fall 2005, is an organization tasked with operating a yearly Japanese Culture and Anime Convention to provide high-quality education and entertainment for our attendees in a safe and fun environment, and to promote the acceptance and appreciation of the anime fandom in the Mid-South and throughout the country as a whole. The inaugural convention was held in San Antonio, Texas on August 8th, 2008 through August 10th, 2008.

When: August 14-16
Where: San Antonio

Once a month, we get together to try a new (or new to us) restaurant in Austin. Occasionally, we'll hit up a local favorite, as well.

Cedric, from our favorite Bedlam Bards, has a new comedy act and he needs our support to make sure he gets to keep performing it for a long, long time.

Browncoats must rally and support one of our own! (And be entertained in the process! A win-win!)

Where: The Blu Café, (3rd and Nueces in downtown Austin)
When: 8 pm (be there at 7:30 to get a seat)
What: Incredible Fun!

Want to practice for that next American Idol audition? Well, neither do we. But we do love us some karaoke. So come join us as we stretch our vocal chords. And don't worry if you don't exactly sound like the next Elvis. Only our webmaster, Sam, does!

When: 7:00 pm - 11:00 pm (or 12:00 am)
Cost: $20.00 per hour for up to 6 people, $5.00 per person per hour for any additional person.
