The Austin Browncoats are organizing the first ever CSTS event in San Antonio this year.
The event will be held on July 12th at the Alamo Drafthouse Westlakes in San Antonio, and will include a screening of Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Blog in addition to Serenity, a costume contest, raffle, and auction. All proceeds go to support Equality Now and The Kids Need to Read Foundation.

Who: We are meeting up with the MEETin Austin group! If you'd like to come, reply to on our forums. Don't want to donate blood, but you would like to cheerlead and lend moral support? Come along!
Why: Come with the Austin Browncoats and Austin MEETin group and donate blood every two months! Donate some blood, so you can feel Bloody Good, too! To read more about donating blood and why we're doing this, visit our Bloody Good forum.
Rules: Almost anyone in good health (no colds or flu) who weighs at least 110 pounds and is at least 17 years old. Donors should bring a photo ID and know their social security number. We encourage all donors to eat and drink plenty of fluids before donating. Some medications, medical conditions or risk factors may be a basis for deferral. Speak to the nurse manager by calling 512-206-1108 if you have any eligibility questions.
The fun: Wear a costume when you go to donate blood. Why? Because it'll put a smile on someone's face. Austin Browncoats will also have a prize to give away to the best costume of the day!
