Browncoats Thanksgiving and First Sunday

This first Sunday is special. It is our First Annual Browncoat Thanksgiving. Join us the celebrate the holiday season and enjoy great food, while watching an episode of Firefly.

The Bedlam Bards Perform
Dec 12th and 13th

Join The Bedlam Bards at Fiddler's Hearth.

Annual Browncoat Holiday Party
Dec 14th

Join the Austin Browncoats and celebrate the holiday season in style! This will be our Second Annual Holiday Party. Every year, we get together an have a themed holiday white elephant potluck. (Say that 5 times fast!)

This year's theme is: Horrifying Holiday Sweaters! The best, more horrifying sweater gets a prize, so make sure you make your sweater as horrifying as possible.

As with most of our events, this is a potluck. Please contact Brenda to see what items are still needed.

You are not required to participate in the white elephant gift exchange. If you'd like to, please keep your gift around $10, unless regifting or the item was free.

Karaoke With The Crew

Want to practice for that next American Idol audition? Well, neither do we. But we do love us some karaoke. So come join us as we stretch our vocal chords. And don't worry if you don't exactly sound like the next Elvis. Only our webmaster, Sam, does!

Where: Austin Karaoke, Austin
When: 7:00 pm - 10:00 pm
Cost: $20.00 per hour for up to 6 people, $5.00 per person per hour for any additional person.

Browncoat Caroling

Join the Austin Browncoats as we carol through a neighborhood on December 19th. We'll have folders with all of our songs available, but make sure you RSVP with Beth. There is no enforced dress code, but Victorian, Dickensian is preferred, if possible. Otherwise, just make sure you prepare for the cold weather.

December Karaoke – Revolution!

Want to practice for that next American Idol audition? Well, neither do we. But we do love us some karaoke. So come join us as we stretch our vocal chords. And don't worry if you don't exactly sound like the next Elvis. Only our webmaster, Sam, does!

This is different from our normal karaoke get-togethers. This time, we're playing Karaoke Revolution! Light snacks with be provided. We'll also have present wrapping materials around just in case you need to get some work done before the holidays!

New Year's Eve Recession Party
Dec 31st

It's only a matter of time before we're officially in a recession & it'll be time to party. Dress in your favorite recession attire! Bring your favorite canned meat! Drink your favorite 40! Come with or without your job. Maybe we'll have a fire pit to roast your dreams and retirement.

We'll have appetizers and general beverages, like sodas, tea, water, champagne. This is a potluck, so bring your favorite recession food. That's right folks. A party that requests pigs in a blanket and your best prepared ramen noodles! There will be prizes for the best Recession costume, as well as the most creative recession dish.
